Our Pillars

Cultural Preservation

Through active listening and engagement with local voices, Rise in Resiliency preserves and honors the diverse cultures of the communities we serve. By documenting and sharing their stories, we empower these communities to reclaim their cultural identity, fostering resilience and pride.

Skill Building Workshops

Workshops offer a valuable opportunity for individuals facing historical income challenges to acquire new skills, enabling them to enhance their earning potential. By participating in these workshops, individuals can overcome barriers and empower themselves with additional skills, opening doors to increased income opportunities.

Holistic Health

At Rise in Resiliency, we believe in fostering holistic health by prioritizing joy, exercise, and connection alongside healthy eating and living practices. We recognize that true well-being encompasses not only physical health but also mental and emotional wellness, creating a balanced and resilient approach to living a fulfilling life. At Rise in Resiliency, we encourage our communities to reflect on the factors that contribute to their sense of well-being and vitality, and use this as our compass for health iniatives.

What We Do:

Invest in Local Initiatives for Cultural Preservation

RR invests in local initiatives that serve and support marginalized communities.

We do this through fundraising, programming, and organizational support.

We help harness resiliency for others to grow in mind, body, and spirit.

Provide Skills Training and Holistic Health Support

RR champion our partners in their community endeavors through skills training and holistic health support.

Our skills training is held by teachers local to the region, who hold knowledge and wish to share it with others.

Our holistic health support includes everything at the macro level:

needs assessments, marketing support, and social media to ensure sustainable success;

in addition to everything at the micro level:

food, exercise, healthy eating, sanitation support, gardening tools and other materials needed to live well in the mountains.

Who We Work With: Marginalized Groups of People

RR works with different groups of people and their communities. We aim to serve communities who historically lack access resources, hold marginalized social identities (based on race, class, sexuality, ability, gender, religion +) and thus do not hold as much privilege as others due to systems & structures in place today.

Will you help us raise resiliency in your community?
