We’re in Costa Rica!
Rise in Resiliency has started it’s international journey!
For the past 6 months, we have been getting to know our new location for service: Costa Rica.
In August, our Executive Director arrived to begin learning and understanding more about the needs of the people in Costa Rica.
Our journey permitted the opportunity to learn about the needs in the Limon province from the coastal waters in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca to the mountains and inland town of Guapiles.
At this time, RR has settled in the Pococí district, within the Limon province where it intends to initiate co-created projects with the community (more on this soon!).
At this time, we are grateful for the chance to learn more about the needs of the Costa Ricans who live in the Limón province. By partnering with local leaders and community members, RR intends to support the health of this community in a holistic way.
We are in a stage of learning, relating and understanding better the types of mental health needs that are present in these communities.
We are grateful for the opportunity to work with our current local leaders to support their work in enhancing the community in the Pococí district of Limón.
We hope that our partnership with these local community members will support the transformation of lives and relation to the land here.
More information will be coming soon regarding our upcoming project. We’re working on something really great!
